Matawan, the French leader in mobtech, announces two major appointments within its organization, marking a new strategic phase to structure and intensify its growth momentum across Europe. Constance Martiny Sondag joins as Chief Sales Officer Europe, and Sébastien Hurtaux is appointed Senior Strategic Business Advisor.
Constance Martiny Sondag brings strong international experience, particularly from her 14-year tenure at Unite, where she led commercial development of the cloud platform across various European markets. She began as Country Manager France before successively overseeing Benelux, Italy, Spain, Poland, and Hungary as Vice President Sales Europe. She started her career at Be Relax as Managing Director for Germany & Switzerland after graduating from ESSEC and ESB Business School in Reutlingen. Her career path highlights her ability to structure, scale, and lead ambitious commercial visions in complex, multicultural environments.
As Chief Sales Officer Europe, she will oversee commercial development and customer satisfaction in France and across Europe. She will build on the company’s existing commercial presence in France, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, and Belgium and continue Matawan’s European expansion plan. Constance joins the executive committee and reports to Jérôme Tredan, CEO of Matawan.
Previously Chief Commercial Officer overseeing Sales and Customer Success teams, Sébastien Hurtaux moves into a cross-functional role as Senior Strategic Business Advisor to the executive committee and the CEO. As a committee member, he will actively contribute to identifying future growth opportunities by determining which solutions bring the most value to clients and partners. This move reflects Matawan’s intent to leverage internal expertise to build sustainable, agile, and ambitious growth.
