In a fragmented and fast-changing industry, Gilles Trantoul’s mission will be to identify the growth levers that will position Matawan as a leader in the mobility market, through an ambitious marketing approach, an external growth strategy and the development of a strong ecosystem of partnerships.
Matawan is also changing the scope of two of its historical associates to meet its strategic challenges.
→ Laurence Medioni appointed Chief Sustainability Officer. Mobility is by nature a topic with social, societal and environmental impact, and CSR is at the heart of Matawan’s strategy. With the award of a silver medal in the EcoVadis CSR performance evaluation in April, and the efforts made historically, the scale-up aims to be exemplary in this area.
→ Nathalie Azoulay has strengthened her role as Public Affairs Director to strengthen the company’s relationship with decision-makers, influencers and all those who contribute to building tomorrow’s mobility.
Gilles Trantoul, X-Telecom, began his career in 2007 with the Boston Consulting Group, where he developed strategy and consulting expertise in various sectors and countries. In particular, he worked in India for a year and quickly focused on the technology sector.
In 2013, he joined Amadeus, the leader in technology for the travel industry, where he played an active role in the company’s strategy, as well as in the development of acquisitions and strategic partnerships, before joining the distribution business. There, he led several global functions before setting up Product Marketing and managing the investment portfolio as Vice President Product Marketing and Portfolio Strategy.
In 2024, he decided to join Matawan, won over by the team, the company’s trajectory and the ambition of the project.
